1. Programme Overview
The ApnaAstroAI Referral Programme ("Programme") allows registered users ("Referrers") to invite new users ("Referred Users") to join ApnaAstroAI and earn complimentary questions or other benefits as a reward. Both the Referrer and the Referred User may receive benefits upon successful referral, as described in this document.
2. Eligibility
- You must be a registered ApnaAstroAI user with a verified account to participate as a Referrer.
- The Referred User must be a new user who has not previously registered on ApnaAstroAI with any mobile number or email address.
- Both the Referrer and the Referred User must be individuals aged 18 or above.
- Employees, contractors, and affiliates of ApnaAstroAI are not eligible to participate in the Programme.
3. How It Works
- Every registered user is assigned a unique referral code, visible on their Profile page.
- Share your referral code or referral link with a new user.
- The new user registers on ApnaAstroAI and enters your referral code during signup.
- Once the new user completes registration and their account is verified, the referral is recorded.
- The Referrer receives a referral reward credited to their account, with an additional bonus when the Referred User makes their first paid purchase.
4. Referral Rewards
- Referrer reward: Bonus AI consultation questions added to your question balance when your referral signs up, plus an additional bonus when they make their first paid plan purchase.
- Referred User reward: Additional complimentary questions on signup when joining via a referral code.
- Reward amounts are configured by ApnaAstroAI and may be updated from time to time.
- Rewards are credited within 24 hours of a successful referral being confirmed.
- Rewards are non-transferable and have no cash value. They cannot be exchanged for money or plan upgrades.
- Rewards do not expire as long as your account is active.
5. Referral Limits and Fair Use
- There is no limit on the number of valid referrals you can make.
- Each new user can be referred by only one Referrer. If multiple codes are used, only the first one entered during registration is recognised.
- Each mobile number and device can only complete one referral registration.
6. Prohibited Activities
The following actions are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account suspension and forfeiture of all referral rewards:
- Self-referral: Referring yourself using alternate phone numbers, email addresses, or devices.
- Fake accounts: Creating fictitious accounts solely to generate referral rewards.
- Bulk or spam referrals: Using automated tools, bots, or bulk messaging to distribute referral codes.
- Incentivised referrals with false claims: Misleading others about the nature of ApnaAstroAI's services to induce sign-ups.
- Referral farms: Coordinating with others to exploit the referral system in bad faith.
ApnaAstroAI reserves the right to investigate suspicious referral activity and reverse any rewards obtained fraudulently, in addition to suspending the involved accounts.
7. Programme Changes and Termination
- ApnaAstroAI reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Referral Programme at any time without prior notice.
- Reward amounts and eligibility criteria may change at any time; changes apply to future referrals only.
- In the event of Programme termination, existing valid rewards already credited to accounts will be honoured.
8. Taxes
Referral rewards are in-platform credits with no monetary value. They are not subject to income tax as cash income. However, if the Programme is updated to include cash or high-value rewards in the future, you will be responsible for any applicable taxes under Indian law.
9. Governing Terms
The Referral Programme is subject to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. In the event of any conflict between this document and the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service shall prevail.
